Privacy

Desert Phoenix Design (PO Box 135, Bouse, AZ 85325, USA; info@desertphoenixdesign.com) collects as little as it can. This page explains what we keep and why.

When you order a map

• What we collect: your email address, the artist and title you enter, your order choices and notes, and the audio file you upload.
• Payment: handled by Stripe. We see that a payment was made and the email you gave Stripe, never your card details. Stripe's own privacy policy applies to what you enter there.
• Why: to build your map, send it to you, and contact you about your order.

When you buy Nightmare Foundry

• What we collect: the email address you give Stripe, what you bought and when, and the key we send you. When you agree to the terms at checkout we note the time, what you were buying and your IP address.
• Your devices: for each headset or PC you activate, its name (like "Meta Quest 3" or your PC's name), whether it's a Quest or a PC, when it was activated and last checked in, and an anonymous code made from its hardware, so a key only works on the devices it was activated on.
• Why: to deliver what you bought, keep it working on your devices, and stop keys being shared or resold. Your devices are listed for you on the activate page, and you can free them there.

How long we keep it

• Uploads that are never paid for are deleted after 7 days.
• Your audio file is deleted within 30 days of your order. It is stored privately on our web host, outside the public website, and is never shared or published. To build your map, a copy goes to our own build computer and is deleted there as soon as your map is made.
• Order records (email, order details, payment record) are kept as long as needed for accounting and tax.
• Nightmare Foundry keys and device records are kept as long as your key is in use, so you can keep playing what you bought.

Add Your Song

The Add Your Song page works entirely in your browser. Your map and your song are processed on your own computer and are never uploaded to us.

Who else is involved

• Stripe, for payments.
• Namecheap, which hosts this website and stores order files.
• Google Fonts: the site's fonts load from Google, so your browser contacts Google's servers.

We don't sell your information, use advertising trackers, or share your data with anyone else.
